Africa

Operational AI for African businesses, built by people who know the floor.

NXTVIS deploys computer vision, document AI, forecasting and bilingual assistants inside operations in Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Ghana and Ethiopia. We come from a garment-manufacturing economy, so the problems on an EPZ sewing line in Athi River or a textile floor in Alexandria are ones we have already solved at home, and we price for a market where a project has to pay back inside a year, not a decade.

Our office runs Sunday to Thursday, 09:00–18:00 Dhaka time (GMT+6). Monday-to-Friday markets get Friday cover written into the schedule; Egypt's Sunday-to-Thursday week matches ours.

What is being bought

Where AI pays first in African operations.

The demand we see is practical: the places where a decision is being made from data nobody has time to read, in businesses that already run on mobile money, WhatsApp and a thin connection.

Built for the real constraints

Bandwidth, power, cost and data law, designed in from day one.

A system designed in a Silicon Valley office assumes a fast connection, stable power and a budget with a comma in it. Ours assume the opposite and are pleasantly surprised when they are wrong.

  • Edge and on-premise inference

Vision and document pipelines run on site on a single GPU box or an industrial PC, so a dropped connection stops nothing and footage never has to be uploaded. The cloud is used where it is cheaper, and only then.

  • Priced to pay back in months

Fixed price per scope where the scope is clear, quoted in USD with local-currency invoicing where it helps you, and sized so a mid-market business sees payback inside a year. The audit report carries the payback period for every opportunity.

  • Data-protection law, country by country

POPIA in South Africa, the NDPA in Nigeria, Kenya's Data Protection Act, Egypt's and Morocco's personal-data laws, Ghana's Data Protection Act: we map which applies to your entity, host in-country or in-region where the law or the regulator prefers it, and document the transfer basis where data does cross a border.

  • The languages your customers use

Assistants are built and evaluated in the languages of the market (English, French, Arabic, Swahili, Amharic, Hausa, Yoruba where the data supports it) not translated after the fact.

How the engagement runs

Four steps. The first three cost nothing.

The same engagement we run everywhere, with the Africa specifics made explicit: a remote audit over the connection you have, a mutual NDA before any access, invoicing in USD or your currency, and an engineering team on the same side of the clock as you.

A 30-minute call, in your morning

We map how the operation runs, which systems hold the data and where the cost sits. Over WhatsApp, Meet or Teams, whatever your connection likes.

Remote systems review under NDA

Read-only access to the systems and exports you choose, screen-shared walkthroughs with the people who run the workflows, and sample data (photos of the line, a week of transactions, a folder of documents) sent securely.

The AI Opportunity Report

Every deployable workflow with build cost, annual saving and payback; the ones we would leave alone; notes on connectivity, hosting and data law. Written for whoever signs off the budget.

Proof of concept inside two weeks, production inside two months. Hardware specified and shipped where edge inference is needed; a site visit for floor deployments that need physical measurement.

For African agencies and integrators

Your Nairobi, Lagos or Johannesburg brand. Our engineering team.

Digital agencies, consultancies and system integrators across the continent bring us the AI and software work that is bigger than their bench. We build under your brand, inside your tools, and never contact your client. Rates are set so a partner quotes at local market rate and keeps a real margin.

  • Mutual NDA and non-solicitation

Signed before any brief, running both ways and surviving the engagement.

  • Full IP assignment

Repositories, infrastructure and documentation transfer to you or your client on final payment.

  • Overlapping working day

Four to six hours of shared day with every major African hub, so standups and demos happen live.

  • Invoicing in USD or your currency

On your payment terms. Company registration and insurance documents available before a bid.

Straight answers

What African buyers ask us.

Because the problems match. Bangladesh is a garment-manufacturing, mobile-money, thin-bandwidth, price-sensitive economy that has had to make AI pay in the same conditions your business operates in. We have deployed vision on sewing lines, support agents in a low-resource language and document pipelines for banks under exactly those constraints, at rates a Western firm cannot match and with floor experience a local generalist agency usually does not have yet. Where a local partner is the right structure, we work through one as the engineering team behind their brand.

Not if it is designed for that, and ours are. Vision and document pipelines run on site on a GPU box or an industrial PC; the model keeps working when the link drops and syncs when it returns. Dashboards and reporting can live in the cloud or on the same box. The audit report says, per opportunity, what has to run locally and what can run in-region.

Yes. We deploy on your own servers or on in-region cloud (AWS Cape Town, Azure South Africa, Google Cloud Johannesburg, and the newer regions in Kenya, Nigeria, Egypt and Morocco as they come online) and we design so that prompts, logs and telemetry stay where the core data is. Where a cross-border transfer is unavoidable, we document the basis before anything is built.

We invoice in USD by default and in local currency where that is easier for you, on your payment terms, by bank transfer. Fixed-price scopes are quoted at signing so a currency move does not reopen the price mid-build. We will not ask you to pay in crypto or through an intermediary.

Yes, for floor deployments that need physical measurement (camera placement on a line, gate geometry for attendance) scheduled as part of the build. The audit itself is remote so that it can stay free.

General enquiries

The audit is run remotely over a read-only connection and a few working calls. A site visit is arranged only when a floor deployment needs one.
