SecureWatch – Smart Security Monitoring and intruder alert

SecureWatch is a next-generation security monitoring dashboard currently in development.

Introduction

SecureWatch is a next-generation security monitoring dashboard currently in development. It is designed for residential zones, smart city environments, educational campuses, and multi-story facilities. The platform aims to simplify surveillance by offering centralized camera feed management, real-time alerts, and AI-driven anomaly detection for stronger and faster security decision-making.

Project summary

SecureWatch consolidates multiple CCTV feeds into a single, intuitive dashboard for security teams. It helps users monitor live activity, identify suspicious events, and manage alerts from various locations. The system is being built with future-ready capabilities such as anomaly detection, remote PTZ control, and integration with existing camera infrastructures, providing a scalable solution for high-density residential blocks and institutional facilities.

Core features

1. Centralized Camera Monitoring

– Live viewing of multiple CCTV feeds – Support for RTSP/ONVIF camera protocols – Grid, fullscreen, and dynamic view modes – Camera health status and uptime monitoring

2. Alert Management System

– Real-time security alerts – Alert tagging (critical, medium, low) – Event logging with time-stamped video snapshots – Acknowledgment and escalation workflow

3. AI/Anomaly Detection (Under Integration)

– Suspicious motion detection – Loitering and abnormal behavior identification – Object detection for unattended or restricted items – Unusual crowd activity warnings

4. Remote Device Control (Upcoming)

– PTZ camera control (pan, tilt, zoom) – Remote locking/triggering (integration-ready) – Smart-light activation for night surveillance

5. Dashboard & Analytics

– Camera status summary – Alert analysis and history – Basic heatmaps (planned) – Usage analytics for decision-making

Technology used

– Frontend: Next.js – Backend: Python – Video Streaming: WebRTC & RTSP integration – AI Engine: CV-based anomaly modules – Database: PostgreSQL & MongoDB – Deployment: Docker, cloud/on-premise compatible – Device Integration: ONVIF, RTSP, VMS-ready

Where to get it

– Web dashboard – Multi-site monitoring view – Admin panel with user roles – mobile app for push alerts - sms and email notification

Market differentiation

– Designed for residential and campus-based security – Lightweight, fast, and scalable architecture – Integration-ready with existing CCTV infrastructure – Future-proof with modular AI features – Tailored for smart cities and community security watch groups

Where it is used today

– Early interest from gated communities and residential zones – Pilot-testing potential for school and university campuses – Small-scale deployments for garages and warehouses

What comes next

– LPR (License Plate Recognition) integration – Facial recognition add-on – Predictive analytics & smart insights – Emergency response automation – Multi-location command center – IoT device integration (smart lights, locks, alarms)

Market strategy

– Expand to smart city authorities for large deployments – Offer SaaS subscription for residential associations – Provide white-label versions for security companies

Conclusion

SecureWatch aims to redefine digital surveillance with an intelligent, easy-to-use monitoring dashboard. As development progresses, it will evolve into a complete AI-enhanced security ecosystem: capable of detecting threats, managing alerts, and controlling devices remotely. The platform is built for scalability, affordability, and practical deployment in various residential and institutional environments.

About SecureWatch – Smart Security Monitoring and intruder alert

Yes, it integrates with existing RTSP-based cameras and VMS systems.

Yes, it is developped with core module and ready to use.

Yes, anomaly detection and object recognition are part of core module.

Residential buildings, school/university campuses, warehouses, garages, garment or chocolate factories and gated communities.

For real-time AI inference, GPU servers or edge devices (NVIDIA Jetson) are needed. It will handle by us.

Both options are supported depending on the security requirements.
