The problem

Managing day-to-day household tasks and services is harder than it should be. Finding a reliable electrician or plumber, renting a home, or arranging transport all mean starting from scratch each time, with no dependable way to judge who is trustworthy.

What we deployed

Sohozebasa puts a wide range of services under one roof and serves both sides of the transaction (people looking for a service and people offering one) so the same account can do either.

Core features

Household services: electricians, plumbers, painters, gardeners, chefs and more.

Rent and transportation: house rental, vehicles for moving, and property listing for homeowners.

Interior design: packages for people improving a home.

Vehicle solutions: fuel service and repair scheduling for two- and four-wheelers.

What changed

A dual-role model where the same account can both take services and offer them. Coverage planned across all 64 districts of Bangladesh.

Commercial model

A small commission from providers on each completed service. Access stays free for the people hiring, which is what drives adoption on the demand side.

What comes next

Food and grocery delivery, to make Sohozebasa a complete lifestyle platform. Advanced AI models for service matching and user behaviour analysis.

Market differentiation

The stated value proposition is breadth: close to forty daily-life needs addressed in one platform, rather than a separate contact for each.

Market strategy

A premium membership for service providers who want better visibility and higher earnings.
